Assembly & PDI

First we uncrate each scooter and finish its assembly.

On 4-cycle scooters we then check and adjust the valves for proper clearance.

All the fluid levels are checked and then the scooter is started and run until it is warmed up. We then drain and replace all the engine and transmission fluids on 4-cycle scooters or the transmission fluid on 2-cycle scooters. On water cooled scooters we also change the coolant fluid.

We then inspect the electrical connections for tightness and check the major bolts and nuts for proper torque.

Then before delivery to the customer we do a pre-delivery inspection that includes:

The drum and disc brakes for proper operation and fluid levels
The tires for proper air pressure
The fuel tank for leaks
The carburetor jet mixture, idle speed and throttle operation
The engine oil, transmission and brake fluid levels
The battery for full charge
The front head light for proper alignment
The tail/stop light, turn signals and instrument lights
The engine kill switch and horn
And finally we test ride the scooter to ensure proper operation and make any final adjustments before delivery to the customer.
